A note from Chris…

I hope you enjoy looking at Art as much as I do. It’s that first second that’s so fun - it hits you. Sometimes like "Whoa! Bad! Why would anyone DO that? To OMG I LOVE that! In most cases looking is free. In my case it’s free therapy. Color is what I love most. But also composition, media, size, and texture. I’m particularly fond of stripes and bright colors.

But those are my preferences. I’m not impressed because of the price tag, the number of awards that artist has won or where they show. What does that have to do with your preferences? How does Art speak to you? You don’t have to understand it. So think about what you love about art.
